Daniel has been coaching triathletes for more than 10 years. As a physiologist, Dan has worked with 9 Olympic medalists and 20+ world champions. With more than ten peer reviewed publications primarily relating to heart rate variability and performance, Dan takes a science based approach to coaching which is based on the athletes’ own physiological responses to training.
Dan is also the coach of professional triathletes Tim Van Berkel and Caroline Steffen. Dan is an avid triathlete himself, and in 2015 he was the first New Zealand finisher at the Ironman World Championship and has a personal best time of 3 hr 57 min for the 70.3 Ironman distance. Dan offers individualized training programs to help you achieve your personal goals.

Alex’s education and knowledge on all things health and fitness is in-depth and diverse. He is certified in Sports Nutrition through ISSN, a qualified Super Human Health Coach, registered as a Recomp Specialised Body Composition Coach, along with his more formal fitness certificates and business degree. He makes use of weekly heart rate variability trends along with nutrition, sleep, and exercise tracking to custom tailor his programs.
